Introduction

This is a permanent FIFO opportunity for a qualified Electrical Technician to work across remote energy generation sites, carrying out both operations and maintenance. You'll be part of a skilled team supporting reliable power generation for off-grid communities and infrastructure.

What are you going to do 

This position involves operating and maintaining power station equipment including gas and diesel generator sets, control systems, and associated plant equipment. Responsibilities include routine inspections, fault-finding, breakdown response, and preventative maintenance. You'll need to be confident working independently and proactively managing plant performance and safety.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • WA A Grade Electrical Licence (Electrical Fitter quals minimum)
  • 5+ years' experience in power stations, industrial or remote plant environments
  • Competence in fault finding and troubleshooting
  • HV switching ticket or gas fitter licence (desirable but not essential)
  • Valid WA Driver's Licence

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
