What are you going to do 

Join a dynamic engineering team delivering advanced electrical solutions for a key Water Reclamation Plant project in Singapore. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality system design, installation, and commissioning while contributing to sustainable infrastructure development.

This role oversees the full lifecycle of electrical systems, including design coordination, vendor management, installation, commissioning, and handover. The systems include ATS, Bypass, BMMS, UPS systems and associated distribution boards. You will be site-based in Tuas and report to the Project Manager / Integration Manager.

  • Lead electrical scope within the project and act as the main interface with clients, vendors, and contractors
  • Drive design reviews and approvals, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications
  • Review UPS and distribution system designs from vendors
  • Perform voltage drop calculations and provide cable sizing recommendations
  • Prepare and review technical and contractual documentation (FAT/SAT procedures, method statements, risk assessments, cable schedules, BOMs, etc.)
  • Monitor and resolve technical issues across design, installation, and commissioning phases
  • Coordinate closely with contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
  • Manage interface requirements across project packages for seamless integration
  • Lead installation and commissioning activities through to successful startup and handover
  • Ensure all deliverables meet contractual, quality, and safety requirements
  • Support post-commissioning activities, including troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical system design, installation, and commissioning within construction projects
  • Good understanding of Singapore electrical regulations and site requirements
  • Strong technical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic site environment
  • Good communication skills and team collaboration approach
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
  • LEW certification is an advantage
