What are you going to do

This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting plant and mobile equipment reliability within a structured Rio maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute planned and breakdown maintenance activities
Maintain plant and mobile equipment
Raise notifications and complete work orders in RTBS
Identify defects and support reliability improvements
Complete post-maintenance checks and commissioning

Maintain strong safety and compliance standards

Essential skills and knowledge

Must Have

Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
Strong experience in heavy industry (mining, smelting, manufacturing)
Experience working within structured maintenance systems (RTBS or similar)
Able to work independently and follow process-driven maintenance

Tickets / Requirements

Driver's Licence
Forklift Licence
White Card
High Risk (preferred)
Auto Air-Con (desirable)

Site Requirements

Yellow medical required
D&A check
Recent police clearance
