Introduction

What are you going to do

Manage the design process from concept through to construction.
Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants and project teams.
Review documentation, design changes, approvals and buildability.
Identify and resolve design issues before they impact delivery.
Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and clients.
Manage design risks, programme and consultant deliverables.

Essential skills and knowledge

Proven experience as a Design Manager with a head contractor.
Must have experience delivering industrial projects up to $20M.
Strong understanding of construction methodology and buildability.
Experienced managing multidisciplinary consultants and design teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
Australian or New Zealand head contractor experience required.
Must be an Australian Citizen / NZ Citizen..
