Introduction

Brunel International is currently seeking experienced Crane Operators (Open Class) for an exciting FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) opportunity to a goldmine project in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This role offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic mining environment while enjoying the benefits of FIFO arrangements. What are you going to do 

As a Crane Operator (Open Class) at the PNG goldmine site, you will be responsible for the safe and precise operation of crane equipment to support mining operations. Your role will involve lifting, moving, and positioning materials and equipment in accordance with site safety protocols and operational requirements. You will work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to all health and safety standards.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Valid Open Class Crane Operator Licence
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience operating cranes in mining or heavy industrial environments
  • Previous FIFO experience highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively
  • Physically fit and able to work in remote site conditions
  • Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical and drug screening
