Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Completions Coordinator on a 2:1 roster, based in the Pilbara with Perth interface, to join a major decarbonisation project. This contractor role involves coordinating system completions, aligning commissioning and handover procedures, and supporting timely delivery of project milestones, contributing to safe, efficient, and sustainable operational outcomes across the site.

What are you going to do 

As a Completions Coordinator reporting to the Completions Lead, You will oversee the safe and efficient delivery of system completions for the decarbonisation project, ensuring milestones are met and procedures are compliant with safety and quality standards. Using your project coordination expertise, you will support project teams, manage documentation, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful delivery of commissioning and handover activities. You will work closely with teams to build strong relationships and contribute to continuous improvement, including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring compliance with all safety standards

  • Coordinate and align project system completion (SC), commissioning procedures, and handover processes with milestones, schedules, and deliverables
  • Maintain user access, permissions, and engineering data in the Completion Management System (CMS), including checksheets, certificates, and systemisation hierarchy
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports on SC/commissioning status for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare, coordinate, and support SC and commissioning activities such as inspections, walkdowns, notice of energisation, and punch list close-out
  • Ensure timely review and approval of certificate dossiers from fabrication through to final handover
  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and completion of scope of work
  • Organise on-site contractor support, equipment purchasing/hiring, and associated logistics
  • Promote zero-harm and safety-first culture on site
  • Support continuous improvement of project workflows and completion processes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in CMS and related project systems
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, project management, and site teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within the Resources and Energy sector, preferably mining

  • Australian recognised Technical, trade, or discipline background
  • Experience with Completions Management Systems (Omega PIMS preferred), strong database and Microsoft programs (Excel)
  • Proven understanding of System Completion processes, documentation, and workflows
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environments
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organisation skills
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, and HS&E compliance
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, risk management, and zero harm
  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • Ability to provide national police clearance and complete a pre-employment medical
