Essential skills and knowledge 

Preferred Education, Experience & Qualifications * Experience in heavy industrial construction and commissioning/start-up planning and scheduling
* Experience supporting large-scale capital or mega projects * Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field with significant relevant experience, or equivalent experience in industrial project planning * Strong working knowledge of cloud-based Primavera P6 scheduling tools
* Excellent organizational and communication skills * Ability to train and mentor others

Language Skills, Certifications and/or Training * Strong understanding of heavy industrial construction and commissioning principles
* Ability to analyze complex information and develop sound conclusions * Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences
* Strong awareness of occupational hazards and safety practices * Ability to build trust, establish credibility, and align teams toward common goals
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Position working from home, with global site visits as required. Average working day is 10 hours.
  • Position includes 3 days of PTO, no paid holidays, paid for days worked only.

Environment: This position will be working on property of an active mine site when doing site visits. All employees will be MSHA trained and must adhere to strict rules and regulations while on property. Dress code enforced and strict adherence to code of conduct. Must wear long pants, long sleeved shirts, and steel toed boots. Safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses and any other PPE will be provided at site.
