Brunel is seeking experienced Coiled Tubing professionals for an upcoming well intervention campaign across Australia commencing in early 2027. Opportunities are available for Field Specialists, Operators, Mechanics, and Electronics Technicians to support critical oil & gas operations using advanced Coiled Tubing equipment and X11 units.

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Coiled Tubing professionals for an upcoming major well intervention campaign expected to commence in early 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting critical oil & gas operations across Australia. If you have experience working with X11 Coiled Tubing units and exposure to well intervention services such as milling, fishing, logging, perforating, stimulation, or downhole operations, we want to hear from you.

Coiled Tubing Field Specialist

  • Lead and execute Coiled Tubing operations using X11 units
  • Supervise crews and coordinate wellsite activities
  • Manage milling, fishing, logging, perforating, and stimulation services
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery
  • Build strong client relationships and support project execution

Coiled Tubing Operator

  • Operate Coiled Tubing equipment, X11 units, and pumping equipment
  • Support intervention, milling, fishing, logging, and perforating operations
  • Perform rig-up/rig-down, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Monitor operational parameters and maintain job documentation
  • Troubleshoot equipment and ensure compliance with HSE standards

Coiled Tubing Mechanic

  • Maintain and repair X11 units, injector heads, reels, and power stands
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and drive systems
  • Service pumps, blenders, mixers, and support equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Support workshop and field maintenance activities

Electronic Technician (Coiled Tubing)

  • Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems
  • Maintain and repair electronic systems on CT and Frac equipment
  • Calibrate and commission electronic components and instrumentation
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and compliance reporting
  • Support field crews during rig-up, rig-down, and live operations

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous experience within Coiled Tubing operations.
  • Experience operating or supporting X11 Units is mandatory.
  • Exposure to well intervention activities including milling, fishing, CT logging, perforating, cleanouts, stimulation operations, downhole hydraulics, or active coil operations(desirable).
  • Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in remote FIFO environments.

Qualifications & Tickets

  • Relevant trade qualification, technical qualification, or industry-recognised competency.
  • Demonstrated Coiled Tubing and well intervention experience.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Offshore certificates and high-risk licences highly regarded.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
  • Open to candidates from major capital cities across Australia and international candidates with relevant Coiled Tubing experience.
