What are you going to do 

Advance Careers has been exclusively engaged by an international energy business looking to grow its market share in the Australian market. They are currently looking for a customer support specialist to join their growing team.

The primary role of the is responsible for assisting clients prepare energy invoicing for their tenants within an Embedded network and resolving day to day queries, while supporting the Metering Manger and Engineering Team within the team to deliver quality services to our clients providing query resolution and database maintenance support.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure billing is delivered on time
  • Assist in the preparation of client proposal documents
  • Provide effective support to clients
  • Develop and support relationships with internal staff, customers and suppliers.
  • Be knowledgeable about business products and services
  • Be effective and accurate in delivery of information
  • Ensure A2 and bespoke databases are kept up to date
  • Ensure you review all and understand regulatory briefings
  • Attend to new data connections in A2, alerting the clients, reviewing the data and logging details
  • Assist clients with access to business online portals
  • Co-ordinate communication between clients and service providers as necessary

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Accurate billing & data management using SmartInvoicing and A2 systems (or similar)
  • Strong client support with clear communication and issue resolution.
  • Process-driven with attention to compliance and regulatory updates.
  • Confident decision-making and problem-solving in coordination with management.
  • Tech-savvy with ability to manage portals, databases, and reporting tools.
