Introduction / Job Summary

Supports the Senior Account Manager and wider team in managing daily business operations, client relationships, and contractor coordination. This role acts as a key liaison between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth recruitment operations, accurate communications, and high-quality client service. The Account Coordinator also contributes to business growth by maintaining long-term client relationships and supporting improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

1.      Client & Contractor Coordination

  • Support the Senior Account Manager and team in daily client and contractor management activities.
  • Liaise with client HR and Contracts teams to coordinate recruitment activities, including new search requests, interviews, negotiations and mobilization/demobilization arrangements.
  • Seek approval for mobilization/demobilization flights, hotel bookings, and other logistical requirements.
  • Convey updates from client HR/Contracts teams to contractors, ensuring acknowledgment and agreement.
  • Manage approvals for ad-hoc payments, billing, and expense claims outside existing agreements.

2.      Account Management & Business Growth

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and contractors.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business with existing accounts.
  • Support in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining excellent client relationship standards.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with key account contacts.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance to support the Account Manager to actively track and reduce TDO.
  • Ensure that all required information is logged in CRM systems for tracking and reporting.
  • Take ownership of business continuity and contribute to improvement plans.

3.      Administrative & Ad-Hoc Support

  • Ensure accurate documentation, communication, and record-keeping for client and contractor activities.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc duties or assigned projects to enhance client satisfaction and internal efficiency.

Essential experience, knowledge, Skills and abilities

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in client servicing, recruitment coordination, or account support.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes, contractor management, or HR operations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required as this role involves liaising and communicating with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is required to support client visits and other business-related travel when necessary.
  • Willing and comfortable to travel regularly to client sites and operational yards located in the Jurong and Tuas areas when required.
