Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leading Energy Company, Brunel is presently recruiting Wells Material & Logistics Specialist to support critical logistics and material movement. This will be a 12 month contract based in Karratha - preferably open to residential candidates, 14:14 roster, to commence early December 2026.

What are you going to do 

You will be responsible for coordinating freight, drilling equipment movements, vessel operations and contractor activities while ensuring compliance, documentation and safety requirements are met.

  • Coordinate Supply Base and material movement activities
  • Act as the point of contact for Logistics Teams and wells engineers regarding equipment inspections, re-certification and modifications
  • Schedule resources and equipment for yard operation
  • Coordinate handling of tubulars, ISO tanks and containers
  • Oversee freight receival using Kabal
  • Manage freight movements between operational areas and vendors
  • Ensure manifests and freight documentation are completed including Dangerous Goods and offshore lifting requirements
  • Coordinate reverse freight and equipment returns
  • Manage bulk materials sent offshore
  • Coordinate vessel planning, loading, unloading and movements
  • Prepare non-conformance reports
  • Support safety initiatives and participate in Toolbox meetings

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience using Kabal Logistics software
  • Strong knowledge of drilling equipment
  • Experience coordinating freight, materials handling and logistics operations
  • SAP experience desirable
