Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Well Operation Supervisor to join their team in Chinchilla. This is a rostered position and will be on a 12 month contract.

What are you going to do 

  • Communicate well objectives clearly to all execution and service personnel, issuing written instructions as needed.
  • Oversee QA/QC of operations, including personnel, equipment, procedures, and reporting to meet targets.
  • Foster a strong quality culture on site, working closely with engineering teams to achieve trial outcomes.
  • Coordinate all site activities and logistics, ensuring alignment across teams and compliance with fatigue management and access protocols.
  • Review and verify service job tickets to support effective contract management.
  • Ensure all equipment and systems are operated within their designated limits.
  • Promote continuous improvement through after-action reviews and sharing of lessons learned across all involved teams.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • IWCF Supervisory Level - mandatory
  • Working knowledge of EDM well engineering software packages or an equivalent system
  • Experience with CSG drilling, workover or abandonment operation
  • Demonstrated natural leadership style with integrity, strong motivation, and clear communication at all levels
  • Extensive supervisory experience in drilling, workover, or intervention operations
  • Preference for candidates with strong Coiled Tubing and Wireline experience due to upcoming work scopes
