Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Represent Company with project contractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure warranty coverage is enforced for assigned projects.
  • Review, prepare and complete assigned operational insurance claims to support fair and timely settlement.
  • Develop, implement and maintain warranty procedures that capture contractual requirements and define clear governance and responsibilities.
  • Provide specialist coordination across Operations Business Division and other Company functions to ensure warranty procedures and contractor interfaces are understood and consistently applied.
  • Lead the timely transfer of warranty ownership, records and outstanding obligations from PMT to Operations before project-team demobilization.
  • Conduct awareness sessions and provide specialist guidance to relevant departments on warranty processes, contractual notification requirements and claim governance.
  • Review claim technical and contractual substantiation, notify contractors of defects or deficiencies, and protect Company remedy and recovery rights.
  • Lead review of contractor Root Cause Failure Analysis, corrective action plans and execution proposals, ensuring compliance with Company requirements and timely resolution.
  • Coordinate disputed claim resolution, back charges and recovery of Company expenditure with Contracts, Legal, Finance, PMT and technical stakeholders.
  • Monitor claim performance, risks, ageing and recovery, and provide structured reporting and recommendations to the Head of Warranty & Insurance Claims.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum seven years' experience in engineering, business development, project management, commercial negotiations and/or warranties, including at least three years in the oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a technically complex and multi-venture environment.
  • Working knowledge of EPC/EPCm contracts, warranty obligations, insurance claim coordination and project handover processes
  • Good analytical and constructive thinking skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to analyse technical and contractual positions, coordinate dispute resolution and prepare clear management recommendations.
