What are you going to do

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care across a varied caseload, including urgent and emergency presentations
Independently manage cases from diagnostics through treatment planning and follow-up
Perform routine and more advanced surgical and dental procedures with confidence
Collaborate with clinic team members to support strong patient outcomes and client care
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients to support understanding and continuity of care
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinical and regulatory standards
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
3-7 years of clinical experience in small animal practice
Eligible for or currently holding a Private Practice license in British Columbia
Strong proficiency in surgery and dentistry, with confidence managing complex cases
Comfortable handling urgent or emergency cases as part of daily workflow
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and client-focused approach
