“One Team” project organization accountable and responsible for effective and efficient delivery of the various scopes in NFPS Compression development.
While position is dedicated for Compression Project COMP2 and report directly to the COMP2 Project Manager, Shared Services Transportation and Installation Division will provide functional support, including T&I engineering, to the position.
Support various COMP2 functions (engineering, construction, business, HSEQ) to meet common COMP2 objectives by discharging T&I execution responsibilities and duties efficiently and effectively – multiple accountabilities and responsibilities.
Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in the T&I processes, systems, procedures, and work products.
Must be able to manage the respective priorities, drivers and challenges of the stakeholders while maintaining focus on their respective execution objectives.
Ensure that there are sufficient and balanced resources, technical and execution expertise available to support the stakeholders.
Ensure there is efficiency in resource deployment to support COMP2 executing teams’ activities.
Manage multiple internal and external interfaces across and Shareholder organizations and EPC Contractors - require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and collaboration.
What are you going to do
Provide full function T&I execution for COMP2 to ensure COMP2 meet its objectives - including all aspects of T&I engineering and T&I execution, marine operations assurance, marine warranty requirements, procedural compliance, execution safety and integrity and project execution effectiveness and efficiency.
Provide core technical and execution expertise to ensure consistent and quality application of T&I systems, processes, and procedures for all T&I scope.
Provide demonstrable competency and experience to advise, make recommendations and decisions as the COMP2 Focal Point for T&I regarding transportation and installation engineering and execution requirements and activities including marine vessel assurance, load-out, sea fastening, transportation and installation analysis, methods and procedures and marine operations and activities.
Provide knowledge and experienced technical and execution input to engineering designs and installation procedures.
Manages marine assurance processes across all COMP2 marine operations activities – including vessel suitability assessments, marine assurance inspections and audits (e.g., OVID), marine warranty surveys, DP assurance.
Responsible for overall performance, KPIs and accurate assessment and reporting of T&I progress for each EPC.
Authorized by COMP2 Project Manager, supported by Shared Services T&I Division Manager, to directly manage T&I activities with COMP2 CONTRACTOR.
Monitor performance through surveillance and analytics of T&I scope – perform necessary assessments, identify opportunities for improvements, application of lessons learned.
Enable effective and efficient resource acquisition, deployment and utilization of COMP2 T&I execution teams.
Actively engage with Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide feedback and seek alignment with T&I execution plans.
Contribute to Compression Project as knowledge-expert on T&I operations and marine practices and procedures related to T&I execution (e.g., Work Management System (WMS), Permit-to-Work (PTW), SIMOPS, Marine Operations Manual).
Coordinates overall integrated T&I plans for COMP2 scope.
Focal point for implementing T&I safety leadership and safe execution of the work and assist COMP2 Project Manager and leadership team in executing project responsibilities.
Lead monitor, and ensure COMP2 CONTRACTORS’ T&I deliverables and other submittals are reviewed and approved in accordance with the COMP2 contract.
Ensures all aspects of T&I risks defined in Risk Management and Mitigation Plans are managed effectively and timely, and approve T&I execution design changes, coordinate all onshore and installation changes specification revisions and exceptions in accordance with the Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes.
Essential skills and knowledge
Preferred Engineering Degree or relevant on the job experience.
Extensive project management experience in a senior leadership and supervisory role.
Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation.
OPITO certification is considered a plus.
Recommended 20+ years of experience with at least 10-15 years demonstrated T&I project management experience.
Preferred Engineering Degree or relevant on the job experience.
Extensive project management experience in a senior leadership and supervisory role.
Experience managing multiple T&I execution aspects including offshore heavy lifts, pipeline, and cable installations, load-out and transportation.
Experience with float-over installation is preferred.
Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation.
OPITO certification is considered a plus.
Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the Offshore projects.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards.
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
Ability to work on or be based on a platform or vessel.
