Your position

In your new position as Team Lead, Telecommunication in the Technology Solutions division, you will hold a dual role combining technical expertise and people leadership. You will be responsible for the daily leadership of our office in Kochi, India, while also acting as a key technical authority within telecom engineering.

You will join a dedicated Telecom team focused on delivering reliable and innovative communication solutions for energy projects worldwide. In this role, you will play a central part in ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables, supporting your team's development, and maintaining strong collaboration with stakeholders across locations.

Your place of work will be in Kochi, India. The position is full-time, and you can expect limited travel.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a Telecom Lead, you will be responsible for technical leadership and ensuring high-quality telecom engineering deliverables across projects.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing technical leadership, guidance, and review of telecom system design across projects
  • Developing and ensuring high-quality system designs, specifications, diagrams, and equipment selections
  • Coordinating with head office, project teams, and other disciplines to ensure alignment and effective interface management
  • Supporting, mentoring, and developing engineers while contributing to workload planning and resource coordination
  • Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities

Essential skills and knowledge 

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Telecom Lead who is passionate about telecom systems and technical leadership and wants to leave their personal mark on both projects and people. You have a structured and organised approach to your work and thrive in a role that combines technical expertise with team support.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Experience with telecom systems such as radio communication, security systems, navigation aids, or wired communication
  • A bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or similar
  • Solid experience from industries such as oil & gas, marine, renewable energy, or similar
  • Strong experience with system design, engineering documentation, and technical reviews
  • Leadership experience or a strong motivation to take on a leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and engineering standards within the energy sector
