Introduction

  • Approximately 10 years' experience in a role with focus on QC/QA processes and documentation management, preferably within the wind industry e.g. monopile, jackets, tower fabrication or heavy duty fabrication reporting to the Fabrication manger on site in the project.

What are you going to do 

  • Ensures the strategy for and the extent of quality control activities for the project fabrication delivery, in accordance with the Project Management Plan (PMP) and its underlying quality plans (PQMP and QPs)
  • Advise, assist and follow up on the fabrication project team members in relation to quality management matters and implementation of the quality system as defined in the sub-QP.
  • Advise, assist, and follow up on the design and fabrication project team members in relation to quality management matters and implementation of the quality system as defined in the PQMP/QAP
  • ITP Reviews & QAS Creation: Review of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), assigning criticality levels and QC requirements. Create and maintained a Quality Activity Schedule (QAS) to track inspections, NCRs, and punch points.
  • Advise and support the fabrication contractors and sub-suppliers in relation to quality management matters and implementation of the quality system according to Ørsted requirements.
  • Ensure that the pre-fabrication and As-built documentation is delivered and received according to contract
  • Communication and coordination of operational quality initiatives and interfaces across the organization.
  • Responsible for follow-up on Contractor NCR and TQs handling within the Execution Scope

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Relevant education or practical experience within fabrication of steel components, preferably within the wind industry, and have completed relevant quality courses and programmes (e.g., ISO9000, APQP)
  • Highly experienced in quality management and have extensive insight into project processes, preferably from a similar position
  • A strong team player with a LEAN mindset and have the ability to meet colleagues, stakeholders, and contractors with a smile
  • Outgoing, possess strong communication abilities, and excel in working with various partners in international settings to be able to work closely with colleagues, internal and external partners, and our contractors.
  • Speak and write English fluently.
  • Ability to work across multiple tasks / projects.
  • High skills on Microsoft office tools like Word, XL, PowerPoint etc..
  • Fluent Mandarin
