Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Prepare, maintain and update survey models, set out data and GPS files.
  • Upload and manage survey data across survey instruments and machine control systems.
  • Coordinate survey set out to support construction activities and project delivery.
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure survey accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain survey equipment registers and software updates.
  • Support project teams by providing accurate survey information and technical assistance.
  • Ensure survey activities are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous experience as a Survey Technician within the civil construction industry.
  • A qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science or a related discipline (or working towards).
  • Experience using GPS survey equipment and machine control technology.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
  • A current Australian Driver Licence.
