Introduction

What are you going to do 

We are partnering with our client, a leading organisation in the Oil & Gas sector, to appoint an experienced Structural Mooring Engineer to join our client's team in Bangalore. In this permanent position, you will play a key role in delivering complex offshore mooring solutions, ensuring compliance with international standards and supporting high-profile projects within the FPSO and wider offshore domain.

Key Requirements

  • Deliver Mooring Design and Engineering support across concept, FEED and detailed design phases.
  • Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings and design deliverables.
  • Perform design studies and ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with Engineers, Lead Designers and other disciplines to resolve design interfaces and clashes.
  • Review drawings, models and vendor documents for quality and accuracy.
  • Complete assigned deliverables within project schedules.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 3-8 years of relevant design experience.
  • Experience in Offshore Oil & Gas / Mooring Design is preferred.
  • Experience with FPSO Moorings & Riser Balcony Structures, Turret Mooring Systems, Renewables, or Subsea Engineering will be an advantage.
  • 3DEXPERIENCE/CATIA, AutoCAD, Navisworks
