What are you going to do 

  • Lead piping material engineering activities, including material specifications, valve/material selection, and procurement support.
  • Piping material engineering roles typically cover PMS, MTO, MR, and technical bid evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain piping material specifications.
  • Review material requisitions, valve specs, and material selection data.
  • Support pipe wall thickness calculations and code compliance.
  • Participate in technical bid evaluations and procurement coordination.
  • Coordinate with process, corrosion, and mechanical teams.
  • Ensure suitability of materials for offshore service conditions.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Offshore oil and gas material engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of piping codes and material standards.
