As a Software Test Engineer, you ensure complex systems run smoothly, making a real impact on service operations and product quality. What are you going to do 

You join a specialized Diagnostics team within an international after-sales environment, focused on developing and maintaining advanced diagnostic solutions (hardware and software) used globally.


What will you do?

  • You design, execute, and improve software tests at system, integration, and component level
  • You translate requirements into clear and effective test cases
  • You analyze test results, report issues, and perform initial problem diagnostics
  • You collaborate closely with development and content teams to ensure high-quality releases

Essential skills and knowledge 

You're someone who communicates easily, takes ownership, and knows how to move things forward. You're analytical, structured, and comfortable working with different stakeholders across levels. On top of that, you bring:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree (HBO) in Automotive Engineering or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in software testing, preferably within automotive
  • Experience with Windows-based software testing and test automation
  • Familiarity with test management and defect reporting tools
  • Experience with CI/CD environments
  • Programming skills for testing purposes
  • ISTQB Foundation certification
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
