Introduction

We're currently seeking an experienced SMP Lead to support a large-scale LNG development. This is a key site-based leadership role, overseeing mechanical and piping activities from construction through to commissioning and handover.

This is a site-based position on a roster offered on a 12-month contact. Long-term work scope with key delivery phases ahead.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead mechanical and piping completion and commissioning across multiple systems
  • Resolve field-based issues and ensure handover milestones are achieved
  • Interpret engineering drawings, vendor documentation, and testing procedures
  • Coordinate with construction, completions, and operations teams
  • Contribute to testing, documentation, and system readiness

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical/piping commissioning on major energy or infrastructure projects
  • Solid understanding of process plant equipment and piping systems
  • Skilled in completions systems and turnover processes
  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced site environment
  • Mechanical trade or engineering background
