Senior Topside Construction Engineer (China)

About the Role:

As a Senior Construction Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the construction of FPSO Topsides at the yard. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate complex engineering activities.You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction work meets project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. This is a site-based role with significant exposure to yard operations and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage site construction activities for FPSO Topsides.
• Ensure proper site exposure and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage and maintain all construction documentation in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of construction plans.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical issues to avoid delays.
• Liaise with yard personnel and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Must-Have Requirements:

• FPSO Topsides Construction Experience – mandatory.
• Minimum 2 completed FPSO projects in a similar capacity.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and coordination.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work in China on Rotations.
