Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Expeditor to ensure the timely delivery of equipment, materials and vendor documentation for offshore and energy projects. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, engineering, procurement, inspection and logistics teams to ensure project schedules and contractual requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage expediting activities for equipment and materials from global suppliers.
  • Monitor production schedules, manufacturing progress and delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate vendor documentation and engineering deliverables in accordance with project schedules.
  • Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation or recovery plans.
  • Liaise with suppliers, engineering teams, inspection agencies and logistics providers.
  • Conduct supplier visits and source expediting activities when required.
  • Manage completion of MRBs, IOMs and vendor documentation packages.
  • Support inspection planning, shipping releases and purchase order close-out activities.
  • Prepare progress reports and participate in project review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering Sciences or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in project expediting, supplier management, procurement, source inspection or supply chain execution within offshore oil & gas, offshore wind, marine or EPC projects.
  • Experience managing international suppliers and fabrication yards.
  • Experience supporting FPSO, offshore platform, marine construction or energy infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in supplier performance management, vendor documentation control and project delivery assurance.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with supplier quality plans, inspection test plans and manufacturing schedules.
  • Knowledge of international engineering codes and standards.
  • Experience coordinating source inspection, expediting and logistics activities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven.

Preferred

  • Experience in offshore oil & gas, offshore wind or FPSO projects.
  • Experience coordinating third-party inspection agencies.
  • VCA or equivalent HSE certification.
