Introduction

What are you going to do 

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships and commercial performance.

Projects are likely to include:

  • Bulk earthworks and landform construction
  • Landfill cell construction
  • Geosynthetic lining and containment systems
  • Capping and closure works
  • Environmental remediation projects
  • Rehabilitation and stabilisation works
  • Drainage, leachate and water management infrastructure
  • Large-scale excavation, engineered fill and site development works

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of civil and environmental infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to completion
  • Lead project teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost control and client reporting
  • Develop and manage construction programmes and project schedules
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements
  • Drive strong commercial outcomes through effective contract administration and risk management
  • Coordinate stakeholders, consultants, regulators and clients
  • Mentor and develop project engineering teams
  • Maintain high standards of project controls, reporting and documentation

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience delivering earthworks, landfill, remediation, capping or environmental infrastructure projects
  • Experience as a Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of bulk earthworks methodologies, containment systems and civil construction practices
  • Demonstrated commercial and contractual management capability
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence
