Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Project Engineer with extensive experience in construction and installation of onshore wind infrastructure. To be considered, you must have site based experience overseeing construction and installation of wind turbines including heavy lift operations and contractor management. This is a 12 month contract with liklihood of extension.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead planning and execution of assigned work packages on site
  • Manage contract deliverables, reviewing contractor project documents and management plans
  • Respond to technical queries promptly and provide practical mechanical solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve engineering issues, recommending best practice solutions.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous experience in a site execution role
  • Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction or Civil Engineering or similar
  • Prior experience in heavy lifting/erection and installation of onshore wind turbines essential
  • Minimum full working rights is required for this position
  • Preference is for the position to be based in Perth before transitioning to FIFO (relocation assistance may be offered to the right candidate)
