Introduction

Brunel International is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Quantity Surveyor to join our team in PNG. This pivotal role involves leading all quantity surveying, progress measurement, contractor performance reporting, and forecasting activities to ensure the successful delivery of this large-scale project.

What are you going to do 

As the Senior Project Controls Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of quantity verification and progress measurement, ensuring accurate and timely data to support project decision-making. You will be responsible for contractor valuation and claims assessment, earned value and performance reporting, and providing forecasting and cost control support. Your expertise will also be essential in analysing contractor productivity and leading a team of project controls personnel to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Lead quantity verification and progress measurement activities for the NSB Project.
  • Assess contractor valuations and claims with accuracy and fairness.
  • Prepare and deliver earned value and contractor performance reports.
  • Provide forecasting and cost control support to project management.
  • Analyse contractor productivity to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor project controls personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
