Introduction

  • To function as the focal point for the Planning and Coordination of all Material and SAP CMMS related activities and Equipment Strategies Development such as SPIRs Review & Approval, Asset Register development, Spares Optimization exercise mainly during FEED and also during EPIC, SAP CMMS;
  • IDB Review, Approval and Uploading for Projects between Project Team, Materials Department, ICT Department and respective Asset Holders Departments;
  • Managing SAP CMMS Consultant for all projects through COMPANY UCC Contract. Responsible for reviewing / approving CMMS projects (Green/Brown fields) management and development of Master Data in IDB;
  • Provides all SAP PM Maintenance Master Data assistance required for Projects to all Asset Holders. Updates and maintains all Maintenance master data in SAP system for new projects.

What are you going to do

  • Managing SAP CMMS Consultant for all projects through COMPANY UCC Contract;
  • Responsible for reviewing / approving SAP CMMS Documents and Deliverables for Projects (Green/Brown fields) management and development of Master Data in IDB;
  • Provides all SAP PM Maintenance Master Data assistance required for Projects to all Asset Holders;
  • Updates and maintains all Maintenance master data in SAP system for new projects;
    • Verifies, audits, reviews and validates the SAP Maintenance Master Data as part of Green /;
    • Brown field CMMS projects deliverables in IDB for Instrument assets that include the following:
    • Technical objects data (Functional Locations, Equipment, Measurement points and counters, Object network, Hierarchy);
    • Preventive Maintenance data (Maintenance Plan, Item, Task List, Standard text & strategies, pegboard analysis);
    • Technical Documents (P&IDS, AS-BUILT, Data Sheets, SPIR, O&M Manuals, etc.,);
    • Bill of Materials data (SAP Material Codes, Construction Types, Spares);
    • Shutdown maintenance PRT data, scheduling relationships;
  • Co-ordinates and provides all assistance to SAP team and respective Asset Holder Department to upload all Green / Brown field projects CMMS IDB into SAP system;
  • Reviews, audits and tests the CMMS IDB data uploaded to SAP QAS/ PRD systems in coordination with SAP ICT Team and respective Asset Holder Department;
  • Co-ordinates, reviews and validates all Green/Brown field CMMS projects maintenance optimization analysis results produced for all relevant assets which include Functional Block Diagrams (FBD), Functional Critical Analysis (FCA), Equipment Critical Analysis (ECA), Risk Spares Analysis (RSA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Ensures that all Safety and Integrity Critical Equipment are clearly identified using appropriate SAP codes so that their compliance can be easily monitored and reported;
  • Ensure scope preparation completeness review and hands on experience in maintenance and SAP based CMMS for plant maintenance module involving, updating data, building hierarchy, preparation of BOM, devising PM for equipment covering Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation disciplines, Identification of documents for different types of equipment for maintenance, Criticality analysis using APMS, Failure mode and effects analysis for different equipment etc;
  • Support development of Qatari teams.
  • Support Assistant Manager / Head of Maintenance or his supervisor and ensure that all applicable environmental, process and safety technical policies, standards are fully integrated and implemented.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • B.Sc. Engineering. Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar capacity in the Oil, Gas or Petrochemical Industry. Experience in working on a Computerized Maintenance / Materials Management System (SAP);
  • Working experience with standard PC software. Strong working knowledge of Material Standards and Specifications;
  • Specific skill set includes the following areas:
    • Very good knowledge of Oil & Gas assets maintenance process and maintenance master data in SAP;
    • Excellent hands-on experience in SAP system environment specifically to SAP PM and MM modules;
    • 6-8 years’ Experience in carrying of PM and Strategy Optimization studies in Oil & Gas Maintenance environment;
    • 5 years hands on experience in developing oil & gas maintenance master data and CMMS IDB;
    • Ability to handle independently the Green / Brown field CMMS data development cycle;
    • 6 years of excellent experience in CMMS project management and ability to plan, schedule and Manage projects;
    • Good experience in (minimum one) of assets performance management tool;
    • Experience in monitoring and Control of Data Acquisition and Maintenance Optimization contracts;
    • 5 years of excellent skills and knowledge in Maintenance optimization processes, exposure to Maintenance Optimization studies that includes:
      • FCA / ECA (Functional Criticality Analysis / Equipment Criticality Analysis);
      • FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) & RCM;
      • RSA (Risk Spares Analysis);
    • Knowledge of computer applications performing the above studies is desirable;
    • Excellent experience in preparing Plant Maintenance Routine (PMR), Collection and verification of Process Equipment Data, drawings, documents and familiarity with Engineering Standards;
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
