Introduction

On behalf of our client, an Australian O&G company, we are seeking a seasoned professional from the oil and gas sector with deep practical knowledge across the full lifecycle of offshore engineering projects, including onshore build, transport logistics, and offshore deployment. This is a permanent position and will be based from their Perth CBD office.

What are you going to do 

  • Design and coordinate lifting and rigging systems, including custom handling equipment and detailed lift sequence plans
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality technical documentation, including engineering specifications, calculations, and procedural guidelines
  • Manage third-party engagements, including technical reviews, regulatory approvals, and inspection activities to ensure compliance and quality assurance

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree in naval architecture, mechanical, civil, structural, or mechatronic engineering

  • Strong knowledge of offshore fabrication, rigging systems, and installation methods
  • Hands-on experience delivering complex offshore construction and installation scopes
  • Proven track record managing challenging work packages and subcontractors
