What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, audit, and conduct inspections of site-specific HSE management systems
  • Assist operational teams in complying with the HSE management system
  • Develop and implement new HSE initiatives to enhance safety and environmental performance
  • Compile and issue HSE-based reports, including incident reports and trends analysis
  • Communicate HSE requirements to project and corporate teams effectively
  • Conduct incident investigations using recognised methodologies and provide findings to project and management teams
  • Utilise technology and HSE databases to support and improve HSEQ management systems
  • Collate and maintain performance statistics across multiple sites
  • Prepare comprehensive executive reports highlighting HSEQ performance
  • Foster strong client relationships, particularly with tier 1/2 contractors and public sector stakeholders

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Minimum Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
  • Valid White Card
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar senior HSEQ advisory role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs (intermediate level or above)
  • Previous experience working with HSE databases
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with key stakeholders
  • Incident investigation experience using recognised methodologies
  • Demonstrated adaptability and a practical approach in a fast-paced environment
