Introduction

This is a unique opportunity to join a start-up exploration company and play a pivotal role in developing an exploration program from the ground up. We're looking for a hands-on field geologist who enjoys working in remote environments, leading exploration activities, and contributing directly to project success.

What are you going to do

Develop and execute exploration strategies, annual work plans, and exploration programs.
Conduct geological mapping, prospecting, geological interpretation, and drill target generation.
Lead field exploration activities, including soil, rock, and stream sediment sampling, core logging, and QA/QC implementation.
Coordinate and supervise drilling contractors, geophysical survey teams, laboratories, and field personnel.
Monitor exploration progress and provide technical recommendations to support project objectives.
Prepare technical reports, geological summaries, and exploration updates.
Ensure all exploration activities are conducted safely and in accordance with industry best practices.

Essential skills and knowledge

Open to Indonesian Nationals only.
Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in metallic mineral exploration (7-15 years preferred).
Strong hands-on experience in field exploration and geological interpretation.
Experience in Copper, Gold, Nickel, or Iron Ore exploration is highly preferred.
Exposure to Porphyry Copper, Epithermal Gold, Greenfield, or Early-Stage Exploration projects will be a strong advantage.
Experience using geological software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Micromine, Surpac, or ioGAS is preferred.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Physically fit and willing to work in remote tropical environments.
