Introduction

What are you going to do 

  • Responsible for maintaining cost accounting records in a manufacturing environment, integrity for assigned projects, general ledger maintenance, supporting the financial reporting and budgeting process;
  • The most important aspect of the role is to ensure financial controls maintained at the highest level followed by application of Company approved processes. This will include financial support to the Finance Lead and operation team as and when required;
  • Partner with operation supervisors to provide advice on matters impacting PnL;
  • Review and analyze project actual costs (hours, consumptions etc.) versus planned costs.
  • Create and control WBS for all REMS projects;
  • Review the standard cost and report all type of variances and burden (PPV, POV, Burden, etc.);
  • Ensure the accuracy of headcounts cost centers;
  • Support with AFEs related to REMS;
  • Capital Spending analysis and CIP control;
  • Expendable items and production supplies whether anything related to project or not;
  • Support in Stocktaking (Annual and monthly cycle count);
  • Update the cost center rate in SAP;
  • Allocation cycles control (update as needed);
  • Support in Annual Fixed Assets Count;
  • Monthly entries (PII, Standard cost allocation, E&O reconciliation, ARM Inventory);
  • Prepare monthly performance reports to timetable support flash updates related to REMS;
  • Support the Finance lead with process implementation in identified areas of non-compliance in addition to any Ad-hoc tasks.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing Industry (Oil & Gas segment would be an advantage);
  • Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
  • Knowledge of ERP system (SAP) and reporting system (Hyperion) considered an advantage;
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills;
  • Must be a self-starter, team player, motivated and capable of working on their own initiative.
