This high-impact role will manage major power transmission and generation contracts, ensuring compliance, stakeholder satisfaction, and optimal commercial outcomes across a complex and evolving asset base..

What are you going to do

As a Senior Commercial Advisor, you will play a central role in the commercial operations team, connecting strategy, operations, and customer delivery to drive value and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the performance of long-term power transmission and generation agreements
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders
Providing commercial advice on contract terms, amendments, and renewals
Ensuring accuracy in invoicing, governance, and financial compliance across key agreements
Driving continuous improvement in commercial processes, systems, and reporting

Essential skills and knowledge

We are seeking a commercially astute professional with a strong background in the energy or infrastructure sectors. You will bring a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement. To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience in commercial advisory, contract management, or business development within energy, infrastructure, or utilities
Strong ability to interpret and manage complex commercial and legal agreements
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Law, or Engineering
A solutions-focused approach with sound commercial judgement and analytical ability
Experience in power transmission, generation, or energy commercial operations (highly regarded)
