Introduction

Brunel International is a leading engineering services provider and we are looking for a Rotary Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support to our petrochemical client in Kuwait.

What are you going to do 

The Rotary Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise which may be equipment based or repair technique based for the identification of the facility’s availability and maintainability. The successful candidate must have 10-15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, with specific experience on large compressors, turbines, multistage pumps, blowers, bearings & seals etc. They must also have experience in advanced trouble shooting, identifying and resolving chronic issues as well as overhaul of the rotating equipment. Knowledge of SAP and other Asset Performance tools like RCM, FMEA is preferred.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Mechanical engineer from a reputable institution with 10-15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Petrochemical industry Is preferred;
  • Specific experience on:- o Large compressors (centrifugal, reciprocating, screw compressor etc.) o Turbines o Multistage Pumps o Blowers o Bearings & seals o Etc;
  • Experience to include advanced trouble shooting, identifying and resolving chronic issues;
  • Experience in overhaul of the rotating equipment;
  • Knowledge of SAP and other Asset Performance tools like RCM, FMEA. Experience in Meridium will be an added advantage;
  • Root Cause Analysis;
  • Spare parts identification and optimization;
  • Providing hands-on training to young engineer;
  • Strength in oral and written communications.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Relevant engineering field Experience 10-15 years of experience.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in English: Intermediate;

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows & MS Office: Intermediate;

Presentation Skills: Intermediate;

Understanding in SAP, IVPP, and PI System.
