What are you going to do 

  • Manage the organisation and systems for effective QAQC consistent with the objectives of Major Projects and control QAQC aspects of MP by being single point of contact and liaising with both internal and external organisations as required;
  • Ensuring adequacy of Contractors plans, procedures, processes and documents – assist in ensure appropriate PMT’s review and approval of Contractors and Suppliers quality deliverables (e;g; plans, Criticality Ratings, Inspection and Test Plans) & Review Contractor’s Audit schedule, encompassing the specific project requirements;
  • Develop, establish and continuously maintain effective plans, procedures, surveillance Programs and other QAQC procedures and tools and ensure their successful implementation across the MP;
  • Ensure the correct implementation of the Project QMS is checked and monitored through the planning of QHSE audits & self assessments;
  • Ensure audits of Contractors and Vendors are scheduled and conducted and participate in Contractor audits as appropriate
  • Ensure project KPI's are defined, measured, monitored and actions implemented for any identified gap;
  • Assist in Identification and management of competent Quality (QA/QC) resources for MP;
  • Flag and highlight project risks that may have impact on Project’s Technical Integrity;
  • Ensure management of nonconformities and promote appropriate actions in order to prevent or eliminate potential non-conformities and their causes;
  • Ensure the management of lessons learned process for continuous improvement as well as identification and implementation of best practices across MP;
  • Lead and manage clear communication and reporting lines for all matters pertaining to major projects QAQC performance adhering with Company Project Management (COMPANYPM) requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 15 years’ experience in the Assurance Management of Oil and Gas major projects, including 10 years involvement in the QAQC of major projects in the Middle East and at least 5 years managerial experience;
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
