Job Description:

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with project team members including design engineers, procurement, and workshop staff to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Coordinate daily and weekly progress updates across all departments involved in the project.

Main Point of Contact

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, directors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure clear communication of client requirements, changes, and project expectations to the project team.

Timeline and Progress Tracking

  • Monitor project schedules and follow up with team members to ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Proactively identify potential delays and work with the team to resolve issues quickly.

Meeting Organization and Reporting

  • Arrange and lead internal project meetings and client update meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports for directors and clients.

Documentation and Follow-Up

  • Maintain proper documentation of client communications, project updates, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure that action items are followed up promptly with the relevant team members.

Collaboration and Support

  • Foster strong teamwork across departments to ensure a smooth project workflow.
  • Support the team in resolving project-related challenges and coordinating actions between departments.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or project management (preferably in offshore equipment, heavy fabrication, or marine sector).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with a proactive approach to following up on tasks and schedules.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic project tracking tools.

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
