Introduction

We are working on behalf of a leading Tier 1 mining organisation to source a talented Project Engineer for a major capital project in the early stages of development. This long-term initiative will shape the future of mining operations in Western Australia and involves extensive infrastructure works including haul roads, conveyors, and critical services relocation.

What are you going to do 

As the project enters its Basic Engineering and Option Analysis phase (FEL 2) in mid-2025, you'll play a pivotal role in design coordination, project planning, and stakeholder alignment - all within a high-performing, collaborative project team.

  • Support FEL 2 activities, including basic engineering and option analysis
  • Coordinate infrastructure design inputs across multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist in developing and managing project scopes and schedules
  • Ensure alignment with engineering standards and project governance frameworks
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
  • 2-10 years' experience in mining, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and eager to grow in a complex project environment
  • Familiarity with major capital project lifecycles (desirable but not essential)
