Introduction

We’re hiring Procurement / Sourcing Manager for one of our Leading MNC to join their growing team. This position is based out in Navi Mumbai (Vashi).

What are you going to do

Position: Procurement / Sourcing Manager;
YOE: 3 to 5 Years;
Contract Type: Permanant Rôle;
Location: Navi Mumbai (Vashi).

Responsibilities:

Supplier Selection and Nomination as per company’s long-term and short-term strategy with the completion of guidelines laid by management;
Apt in doing spend analysis from the production process;
Manage, organize and coordinate sales and manufacturing planning processes, including: demand forecasting, inventory management and on-time delivery to clients;
Process client orders upstream of production and oversee physical tracking of stocks to satisfy clients at an acceptable inventory level;
Lead overall direction and coordination of purchasing, planning, transportation and scheduling activities with assigned staff;
Establish, coordinate and monitor subcontracting strategies;
Main person responsible for optimizing inventory management and accuracy;
Establish all the strategies for organizing transport;
Participate in analyzing sales history data and establish adequate safety stock levels based on forward-thinking, innovative strategies;
Drive the performance management process using KPIs;
Maintain quality relationships with internal partners;
Manage the department's budget, tracking and optimizing costs;
Apply and comply with safety rules at all times;
Apply and comply with company policies and quality systems;
Conducting Supplier due diligence & fulfilling all company guidelines for registration of vendor.

Essential skills and knowledge

BS degree in engineering or related discipline;
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience restricted to EV manufacturing;
Good interpersonal and training skills;
Provide technical support and assist in the resolution of manufacturing problems as required;
Understanding of EV ecosystem, Lithium Ion Battery & other ancillary parts of EV;
Techno-commercial personnel.
