Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor Degree in chemical engineering with further qualifications in Process Safety Management and Process safety risk assessment methodologies
  • 5 years in process safety management on a Petrochemical
  • Processing facility
  • Knowledge of known modelling techniques to evaluate the process safety risk associated with a petrochemical plant.
  • Process safety engineering skills which is required to solve/address complex process safety related risks
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a team leader
  • Ability to identify, assess and analyses critical process safety risks
  • The ability implement critical projects
  • Manage and lead the Process Safety Management System (PSMS)

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
