Introduction

Brunel is currently partnering with a leading multinational mining company to recruit an experienced Planner to support one of its large-scale mining operations.

This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in maintenance planning, shutdown planning, asset management, and work management within mining or other heavy industrial environments.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop and maintain preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
  • Prepare detailed work packs, job plans, labor requirements, material lists, and equipment schedules.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to ensure resources and materials are available prior to work execution.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance shutdowns, major overhauls, and turnaround activities.
  • Monitor work progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate planning and maintenance records within the CMMS/ERP system.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing maintenance strategies, planning processes, and equipment reliability.
  • Ensure all planned activities comply with HSE standards, company procedures, and operational requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or asset management within the mining, heavy equipment, mineral processing, oil & gas, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning principles and work management processes.
  • Experience using SAP PM, Pronto, or other CMMS/ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project; Primavera P6 experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Willing to work on a site-based roster.
