About the opportunity
  • Confidential specialist drilling project in Western Australia commencing mid January 2027
  • FIFO roster on a 2:2 rotation
  • Day and night shift requirements
  • Opportunity to support rig commissioning, start-up and drilling operations
  • Camp accommodation and meals provided while on roster
  • Competitive hourly rates, based on role level and experience

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous land drilling / oil & gas rig experience in roles such as Driller, Assistant Driller, Derrickhand, Floorhand, Roughneck or Roustabout
  • Experience with rig commissioning, start-up or directional drilling highly regarded
  • Strong safety focus, mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working in remote FIFO environments
  • Australian working rights essential
  • Drilling qualification (Cert II, III, IV or equivalent) highly regarded
  • Current Working at Heights, Confined Space, White Card and manual Driver's Licence
  • Additional high-risk tickets (First Aid, HR, Forklift, Telehandler, Loader, IWCF) advantageous
  • Ability to pass medical, drug & alcohol screening, and police clearance if required.
