Conduct NDT inspections using techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Inspection (VT).
Review and interpret test results, technical specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
Prepare and maintain inspection records, reports, and documentation in compliance with quality assurance procedures.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices while performing inspections.
Train and mentor junior NDT personnel as required.
Essential skills and knowledge
Level 2 certification in NDT methods (e.g., ASNT, PCN, or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years of experience in NDT, preferably in offshore oil and gas environments.
Strong understanding of FPSO operations and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
