Introduction

  • Represent the company on board installation vessels to ensure safety and quality

    – compliant execution of works by providing oversight on Contractor’s Day to day activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.

  • Main LNG focal point and team leader on Contractors Vessel.
  • Working in a challenging offshore environment.
  • Assist with problem solving by utilizing prior experience.
  • Manage incident response.
  • Manage a multi-cultural team in an offshore environment.

What are you going to do 

  • Acts as COMPANY Site Representative onboard the vessel during the execution phase, communicating the activity status and progress to the Vessel Lead.
  • Serve as day-to-day interface with contractor/craft labour.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with specification, procedures, and plans.
  • Work effectively within established procedures or create and endorse new procedures as necessary to further develop the Project Management philosophy.
  • Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.
  • Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, self-confidence, fairness.
  • Takes initiatives, based on experience gained, to deliver timely and cost-effective service.
  • Manage the resolution of problems and issues in more demanding situations using precedent and own acquired knowledge.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Diploma In Engineering.
  • Min 8 years offshore installation experience on vessels in Transport & Installation activities.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Field Engineer or site supervisor onboard Installation vessels.
  • Previous work experience and knowledge of LNG PTW systems is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge in installation of offshore facilities and execution methods of subsea structures by an installation vessel.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience on MSV supervision.
  • Demonstrate basic training or knowledge in Lifting, Rigging and Safety standards.
  • Fluent English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook e-mail systems.
