Introduction

What are you going to do

The Mechanical Superintendent will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical maintenance activities on FPSO vessels. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing maintenance plans to minimize downtime. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure that mechanical systems meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Essential skills and knowledge

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in FPSO operations- Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards
