Introduction

Brunel International is a leading global provider of Marine Telecom services and we are looking for an experienced Marine Telecom Technician to join our team.

What are you going to do 

  • The Marine Telecom Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and services related to marine telecom systems. This includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of marine telecom systems on board vessels. The technician will also provide training and guidance to crew members on the use of the systems.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Vessel Traffic System basic experienced;
  • Marine Radar experienced installation and maintenance;
  • Meteorology and Oceanography sensor basic experienced in installation and maintenance;
  • CCTV IP Camera installation and troubleshooting;
  • WLAN AP configuration, basic IP addressing.
  • VHF base station marine radio programming installation and troubleshooting;
  • Handheld VHF radio programming;
  • Voice recorders basic experienced;
  • UTP and Coaxial cable termination;
  • Basic knowledge of telecom testing equipment.
