Introduction

As a Manufacturing Engineer PCBA, you are responsible for translating PCB designs into stable, scalable, and efficient PCBA manufacturing processes. You play a role in bringing electronic products from prototype stage to full-scale production while ensuring the highest standards in quality, process stability, and manufacturing efficiency.

What are you going to do 

  • Translate PCB designs and BOMs into manufacturable PCBA production processes.
  • Create, manage, and optimize machine programs and job files for SMT and THT production lines.
  • Optimize machine settings to maximize quality, stability, and production throughput.
  • Support new product introductions and guide the transition from prototype to serial manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot technical production issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze production and process data to drive quality and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams on manufacturability and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within PCBA manufacturing operations.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent technical background in Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong affinity with electronics manufacturing and PCBA production technologies.
  • Experience with SMT and THT manufacturing processes.
  • Comfortable working with advanced automated production systems and machinery.
  • Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
