Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Manpower Planner to join our team. This role will be crucial in supporting the efficient execution of a mining construction project by managing workforce planning and tracking tasks. If you have a background in engineering, business administration, or HR planning, and possess strong analytical skills, we would love to hear from you.

What are you going to do 

To support workforce planning and execution by managing digital tools, data systems, and reporting tasks essential for manpower tracking during the construction phase of a mining project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain manpower planning spreadsheets to track workforce requirements by discipline, contractor, and schedule phase.

  • Load, validate, and update manpower data into planning and scheduling systems (e.g., Primavera, Excel-based models, or other internal platforms).

  • Prepare and format PowerPoint presentations and reports for management meetings, project reviews, and stakeholder communications.

  • Analyze trends in manpower loading, resource utilization, and workforce mobilization/demobilization schedules.

  • Coordinate with HR, construction, and planning teams to ensure manpower plans are aligned with project execution schedules.

  • Support digital information management including document control, dashboard updates, and database inputs relevant to workforce planning.

  • Assist in preparing forecasts and scenario planning for manpower needs throughout the construction stage.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, HR Planning, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and workforce planning tools.

  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational and analytical skills.

  • Experience in large-scale construction or mining projects is preferred.

  • Familiarity with digital collaboration platforms and document management systems is a plus.
