Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and fluent Mandarin speaker to support our business operations by facilitating effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients, partners, or suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent language skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to translate, interpret, and communicate business-related content accurately and professionally.

What are you going to do

Translate written documents, emails, and other materials from Mandarin to English (and vice versa).
Interpret verbal communication during meetings, calls, or site visits.
Assist in communication with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, or stakeholders.
Support negotiation, procurement, or customer service processes that involve Mandarin-speaking parties.
Ensure that all translations maintain the original meaning, tone, and context.
Provide cultural insights to help teams better understand Mandarin-speaking markets or partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.
Perform administrative tasks related to language support as needed.

Essential skills and knowledge

Minimum 5 years of experience in a Mandarin-speaking role within an international or cross-cultural business environment.
Proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) - required.
Bachelor's degree in any field (preferably related to language, business, or international relations).
Prior experience as a translator/interpreter or in a Mandarin-speaking work environment is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and strong cultural awareness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
