What are you going to do 

We are partnering with our client in the Oil and Gas sector to recruit a dedicated Lifting Supervisor to join our client's team on a contract basis. In this pivotal site-based role, you will plan, coordinate, and supervise all lifting activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations that directly support our client's projects and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Lifting Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all lifting activities on site.
  • You will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, oversee the preparation of lift plans and risk assessments, and manage the rigging and lifting teams.
  • Your expertise will contribute to the safe execution of lifting operations, minimizing risks and downtime while maximizing efficiency.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Certification in lifting operations and rigging (e.g., Banksman/Slinger certification).
  • Strong understanding of offshore and onshore lifting procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and lift plans.
  • Valid safety training certifications (e.g., H2S, First Aid, Safety Passport).
  • Willingness to work offshore with rotational shifts.
