We are seeking experienced Lease Operators to support production operations at oil and gas facilities in the Permian Basin. This is a hands-on field position responsible for safely operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment while helping optimize facility performance. Candidates with experience supporting new facility startups are highly preferred.

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities

* Safely operate and monitor oil, gas, and water production facilities.* Perform routine inspections of wells, separators, heater treaters, tanks, pumps, valves, and other surface production equipment.
* Monitor production through field inspections and SCADA systems.* Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose alarms, and make operating adjustments to maintain production.
* Gauge tanks, read meters, collect product samples, and accurately record production data.* Monitor pressure, temperature, flow rates, levels, vibration, and chemical injection systems.
* Perform basic equipment maintenance, including lubrication, filter changes, valve adjustments, and minor repairs.* Issue Safe Work Permits and perform gas testing as required.
* Coordinate oil sales and saltwater hauling activities.* Complete production reports and gauge sheets accurately.
* Support environmental compliance by minimizing spills, flaring, and other impacts.* Maintain company vehicle and field equipment.
* Work independently while maintaining communication with Production Foremen and other operations personnel.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required.* Previous experience as a Lease Operator, Production Operator, or in a closely related oil and gas operations role.
* Experience operating and maintaining surface production equipment.* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with SCADA or electronic monitoring systems preferred.* Comfortable working independently in the field.
* Ability to work a rotating schedule and respond to call-outs when needed.* Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and wear SCBA and other required PPE.
